Short biography
Péter Földvári (leader hub 2) has been active in the field of human capital, its application in research, and economic history for several years. He graduated in economics (College of Szolnok) and in history (University of Debrecen), and obtained his PhD in European trade and economic growth at Utrecht University. He has written several reviews and has published articles in international journals on the construction of human capital and the application of human capital measures in growth theory. He has written several papers on human capital construction, GDP, and growth theory between 1700 and 2000 covering such diverse countries as the USA, Britain, Hungary and Indonesia. Besides his strong interest in economic history, growth theories, and human capital formation, his field of interest is econometrics which he currently teaches at the University of Debrecen.
